It’s really hard when you have to skip a weekly episode. That’s always part of really knowing how much you love or hate podcasting, and what you’re doing. Normally when I skip a week, I get creative. Suddenly I have more ideas about things I can post or share with you guys, etc. but it’s still always a little weird not posting.
However, this week I didn’t have a choice. We had to evacuate because of the storm. While Florida is lucky that the initial predictions about the storm were incorrect, a lot of people were not, and it is always good to be prepared.
With that being said, I want to thank each and every one of you. I have received countless messages asking about my safety and if I’m okay, I’ve received so much support in my choice to not post an episode this week and instead focus on not only my safety but my family’s, and lastly, you guys haven’t forgotten about me. So many people still tuned in and listened to episodes, were still chatting with me, even keeping me company at times, and sent me such beautiful emails. Times like these are when I hate the English language because there isn’t a word strong enough to express my gratitude to each and every one of you. All I can say is thank you. Thank you for letting me be an impact on your life, and being one on mine.
Now for the podcast, I will officially be back home this week and it is my goal to post an episode on Monday, and hopefully have another one to post to make up for my absence. Also, as I said, the creative juices have been flowing and so I have a couple of posts and things I’d like to write up and share with you all.
Be safe out there, take care, share the same love you’ve shown to me to yourselves and to others, and remember, don’t let the ghosts get ya.
